巴斯大学

　　巴斯大学（UniversityofBath）是一所以科研为向导的英国顶尖名校，科研实力被评定为世界领先。巴斯大学是全英前10的著名学府，历年最高排名全英第4（分别于2003年和2015年）。成立于1966年，现任校监为女王伊丽莎白二世的三子-爱德华王子,威塞克斯伯爵。大学位于英格兰南部的世界遗产城市-巴斯。根据英国各媒体近十年公布的英国大学排行榜，巴斯大学被稳固的确立为英国排行前十的大学。巴斯大学管理学院被公认为英国最好的商学院之一。

　　巴斯大学座落于“世界历史名城”巴斯之外的美丽乡村，距离伦敦只有90分钟的路程。巴斯大学拥有一个多用途、现代化的校园。校园占地面积200英亩，绿野校园上建有学生宿舍及一流的体育设施。在校学生15964人，其中超过25%为外国留学生，学术及社会气氛朝气蓬勃。巴斯大学校园内有商店、食品店、银行、实验室，演讲厅依次环绕中央步行区，族拥着一座矗立的包括大学图书馆和学习中心的现代化计算机大楼。

　　巴斯大学全校人数1.6万，中国留学生超过2500人。每个学年开始之际，本校的国际办公室都为留学生安排入校介绍活动，它也包括机场接机服务。海外学生顾问（ISA）为新生安排熟悉环境活动，并全年提供顺便走访的咨询服务；学生可在保密的情况下，就影响他们的任何问题，得到信息和建议。学生常见的问题有移民、文化适应与想家、就业法规、医疗保健和家庭支持。海外生办公室全年都组织一系列名胜游览和社交活动。办公室利用海外生电子邮件名单通知有关活动的消息。

　　住宿信息

　　本科学生在第一学年可住在校内宿舍。以前从未在巴斯大学求过学的“海外”管理学院研究生也可在学校宿舍里住36周。校内有2000多个不提供伙食的宿舍，而在市中心另有可提供住宿的1000个宿舍。

　　宿舍房型分为标准间、标准带洗手池标准大房间、标准间带浴室与卫生间、单人公寓间、双人公寓间。有单性别和混合性别的公寓间，公用厨房和卫生间。宿舍内均有无线网络。每个住宿区里都住着几名住宿导师（一般为博士生），为所有的学生提供帮助和指导。

　　周边交通

　　巴斯的交通经常很拥堵，最好避免自己开车。很少有学生有车，而且很少有准许停车的地。

　　出行方式

　　公交

　　一般单程票价1.5磅，有多次、月票、季票、年票可选。高峰时期发车间隔时间约为10分钟，但由于堵车，实际到达时间不定。Wessex公司：U18，X18，U10路均可到达。一般早7:00-晚12:00均有服务。First公司：18路可到达。一般早5:00-半夜3:00均有服务。

　　出租

　　坐出租车从市中心到大学费用是8.00英镑。

　　火车

　　到Bristol的火车很便宜，有铁路卡、团体票的情况下5英镑往返。火车晚上没有车次，所以晚间出行不适合坐火车。坐出租回校的费用是35英镑。巴斯的学生会有一个长途车服务，每周四晚上运行，往返票价为8英镑，其中包括了各种优惠，比如进入俱乐部。
